Lists
Lists are scenario-scoped records loaded through Data Loader list targets. The Lists page is used to review list records for a selected scenario, inspect mapped dimension members, and import lists from another scenario.
Access and permissions
Lists are available from the xpna Web navigation when the feature is enabled for the workspace.
- Workspace administrator access is required.
- A list target must already be configured in Data Loader.
- Records are shown for the selected scenario. Actuals is selected by default when the page is first opened.
Note:
If a list does not appear, the related Data Loader definition should be checked to confirm that a List target has been configured and loaded.
Page layout
The Lists page contains the following areas:
- Scenario: Selects the scenario whose list records should be reviewed.
- List: Selects a list that has records in the selected scenario.
- List records: Shows records from the selected scenario and list.
- Import list: Opens the import dialog for selecting lists from another scenario.
- Modelling: Opens the Modelling page with the same scenario and list selected.
Reviewing list records
List records can be reviewed after a scenario and list have been selected.
- Configured list columns are displayed using their configured aliases where available.
- Custom dimensions are displayed using the dimension names configured in the workspace.
- Dimension values are shown as member chips when the record contains a mapped member.
- Extra fields that are available on the record can be shown after the configured list columns.
Importing lists from another scenario
List records can be imported into the selected scenario from another scenario.
- The destination scenario is selected in the main Scenario field.
- Import list opens a dialog for selecting the source scenario.
- Lists that have records in the source scenario are shown in the dialog.
- Individual lists can be selected for import.
- Select all is available when fewer than 10 lists are shown.
After the import is completed, the imported lists are available from the selected scenario.
Note:
Importing a list creates or updates records for the selected scenario. The imported list can then be used as context for scenario-specific modelling rules.
Opening modelling from a list
The Modelling action opens the Modelling page with the current scenario and list already selected. This is useful when list records have been reviewed and rules need to be configured for the same context.
