Managing Dashboards ​

The Dashboards list provides a centralized view of all dashboards available in the workspace. From here, dashboards can be searched, opened, and managed.

Accessing the Dashboard List ​

The dashboard list is accessed from the xpna Web interface and displays all dashboards that have been created in the current workspace.

Dashboard List Features ​

Search and Filter ​

Quickly locate a specific dashboard by using the search/filter functionality. Enter a dashboard name or partial name to filter the list of available dashboards.

Dashboard Cards ​

Each dashboard appears as a card in the list showing:

  • Dashboard name
  • Security indicator icon:
    • No lock icon: Dashboard is visible to all users
    • Closed lock (warning color): Dashboard is restricted to specific security groups
  • Quick access to open the dashboard

Clicking on any dashboard card opens that dashboard for viewing.

Note:

The dashboard list only shows dashboards that the current user has permission to view. If role-based security is enabled, dashboards restricted to security groups the user is not a member of will not appear in the list.

Creating a New Dashboard ​

Note:

Creating dashboards requires workspace administrator permissions.

To create a new dashboard:

  • Click the Create a Dashboard button
  • A new dashboard editor will open where widgets and selections can be added
  • Configure the dashboard as needed and save

Managing Existing Dashboards ​

Workspace administrators have additional options when viewing the dashboard list:

  • Edit: Modify an existing dashboard's structure, widgets, or selections
  • Delete: Remove a dashboard from the workspace

Note:

Standard users can view and interact with dashboards but cannot create, edit, or delete them.
