OData

Overview

The OData connector can be used to load data from an OData feed into xpna.

This connector is commonly used when a system exposes reporting entities through a standard OData endpoint.

The OData service URL is required.

If the feed is secured, the required username and password should also be entered in the configuration.

Note:

Credentials are stored encrypted in xpna.
Access should be limited to the entities that are expected to be loaded.

OData entities are selected as source items in the configuration.

Sample data can be requested so that columns can be reviewed, typed, and mapped before the configuration is saved.

Data can be refreshed manually from the Connections page or by using the configured schedule.

If the OData entity schema changes, sample data should be refreshed and the column configuration should be reviewed.
