First Steps
The first interaction a user has with xpna depends on their role and how they come to use the platform. This can happen in two main ways: either the user is setting up a new subscription for themselves or their organization, or they have been invited to collaborate within an existing xpna workspace. Each scenario involves a distinct process, but both aim to ensure users are smoothly onboarded and can begin using xpna as quickly as possible.
Setting Up a New Subscription
Users who are trialing or purchasing a subscription will go through the complete onboarding process, which includes selecting a plan, setting up billing, activating the xpna add-in within Excel and connecting their first source.
Joining an Existing Workspace
Alternatively, a user might be invited to an existing workspace. In this case, the user will receive an invitation email with a unique code, which will be used to gain access to the xpna platform. The process is simplified for invited users to allow them to quickly start collaborating on projects within xpna.
The following sections detail the specific steps a user will take for each scenario.
