Update Number

If a single xpna.DATAWRITE cell is selected, this context aware action becomes available.

The user sees two inputs: one displaying the current value of the datapoint (read-only) and a modifiable input where the new value for the datapoint can be entered.

A slider is also available, enabling adjustment of the current value by the specified percentage on the slider.

When satisfied with the new value, the user can press the Write back new value action button to save that number to the xpna database.

Success

When the update succeeds, the selected cell displays the new value, and any other related datapoints on the sheet update as well. For example, if the updated cell corresponds to a lower-level expense account and other roll-ups are visible on the report, such as Net Profit, those values update as well without the need for the user to recalculate the worksheet.

Error

If the update fails, the selected cell displays a rich entity card with the value ERROR. The user can click this to see the error details, and the context-aware area changes to display Writeback Error.
