Members and Hierarchies

The Members and Hierarchies page of the task pane provides an easy-to-use interface for managing the metadata stored in xpna.

The following actions can be performed for each of the different hierarchies in xpna:

Hierarchy	Actions
All Custom Hierarchies	All custom hierarchies have options to: Manage member mappings (1) Manage attributes Manage hierarchy
Account	The Account hierarchy has options to: Manage hierarchy Manage attributes Manage member mapping (1) Manage non-financial accounts Clone chart from (2)
Currency	The Currency hierarchy only has the option to: Manage currencies
DataSource	The DataSource hierarchy has options to: Manage attributes Manage hierarchy
Entity	The Entity hierarchy has options to: Manage elimination entities Manage attributes Manage hierarchy
Period	The period hierarchy only has the option to: Manage attributes
Scenario	The Scenario hierarchy only has the option to: Manage scenarios

(1) Only when there is more than one source entity in the workspace

(2) Only when a user has access to more than one workspace
